      kcd is a directory change utility similar to NCD. It helps you navigate the directory tree. Each database is a single disk file (multiple databases can be open at the same time.) Branches (virtual copies) are also supported. The threading model permits multiple readers and a writer at the same time in the same db, so long as the readers are not accessing the branch being updated.
