In her long-term plans, the Cluelessstarlet also wanted to create a big brood with her husband of two years, director Simon Monjack. “I am looking forward to having children soon. However many God is going to bless us with, we will be happy,” Brittany gushed, patting her stomach. The actress was thrilled about recent projects, including indie film Across the Hall. “Life is starting again in a different way for me as far as my career is concerned, and that’s exciting,” she said. Brittany’s life was cut short when she died of cardiac arrest in her LA home at age 32 on December 20.

Brittany Murphy, best remembered for her roles in Cluelessand in Girl, Interrupted, has died at the age of 32 after going into full cardiac arrest. Her mother, Sharon Murphy, called 911 at 8 a.m. on December 20 after finding her daughter, Brittany, unconscious in the shower. The actress was rushed from her Los Angeles home to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was announced dead on arrival. An eyewitness tells In Touchthat her mother was in the ER as CPR was attempted to resuscitate the actress and was “extremely distraught.”A statement issued by Brittany’s publicist on behalf of family and loved ones asks,“In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy.”Ashton Kutcher, Brittany’s former boyfriend who also played opposite her in the movie Just Married, took to his preferred forum to express his grief, writing on his Twitter page: “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out to Brittany's family, her husband and her amazing mother Sharon. See you on the other side, kid."While there had been unsubstantiated rumors of drug use in Brittany's past and questions raised about her possibly suffering from an eating disorder, the true cause of her death has not yet been determined. In 2005, in an interview in Janemagazine, she shot down rumors of cocaine use. “I’ve never even seen it. I am also way too high-strung. I can't even take a Sudafed. Can you imagine? My God. I think my heart would explode.” The actress is survived by her husband, Simon Monjack.

After a year full of dramatic ups and downs, formerBachelorwinner Melissa Rycroftfinally got the "happily ever after" she deserved — an ultra-romantic beach wedding to her longtime boyfriend, Dallas-based insurance agent Tye Strickland, in breathtaking Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Surrounded by 200 of their closest friendsand family members, Melissa and Tye exchanged vows on December 12. And, as Melissa exclusively reveals to In Touch, neither one of them could keep their tears in check. "I was fine until 'Here Comes the Bride' started," Melissa tells In Touch. "I think everything hit me at once. My dad started to walk down the aisle, and I just stopped him. I grabbed his arm, and I was like, 'Hold on,' and I started crying. And I saw Tye, and bless his heart, he had these big tears in his eyes, too. It was very emotional." Just as moved as his new bride was from the very start of the ceremony, Tye admits that seeing Melissa for the first time in her strapless Alfred Angelo gown was an overwhelming experience. "When I saw her, I just lost my breath — like I was in a football game and had the wind knocked out of me," Tye tellsIn Touch. "I've never felt that way in my whole life, and I just couldn't help it. She was the most gorgeous bride I've ever seen in my life, and it was amazing. It was absolutely perfect." They both included their families in the ceremony. "Both of our dads got up there and spoke and prayed for us," she shares, adding that Tye's father officiated over the vows. With the ocean behind them, Melissa exchanged traditional vows with her groom — both of them barefoot — as the sun set over the rolling waves."I didn't look around to see anybody — Tye and I were so wrapped up in the moment," Melissa says. "If you asked me to repeat anything that either of our dads said, I couldn't right now. Thankfully, there were pictures taken, so I know it happened, but I do remember that when the music started for us to go back down the aisle, we looked at each other and said, 'We did it.'" The whole time, Tye couldn't take his eyes off of his beautiful bride. "There were a couple of times during the ceremony where I just kept mouthing to her, 'I love you, I love you, I love you.' And Melissa felt the same. "My heart was pounding and we were both looking at each other and squeezing each other's hands," she says. "We were both so happy."

When Danny Cahillweighed 430 pounds, his wife and family staged interventions, begging him to get healthy. “I would sit on the couch, watch TV, eat tons of food… I was the worst role model for my kids,” the 40-year-old from Broken Arrow, Okla., tells In Touch. “But there’s no magic word. I had to re-find my self-worth.” He rediscovered it on The Biggest Loser, dropping a record 239 pounds. “My wife, who met me when I was 175 pounds, believed in me. She was a big reason that I was able to do it,” says Danny of Darci, who shed 65 pounds on her own. “What she did was bigger than what I did at the ranch!” They’re making sure their children, David, 10, and Mary Claire, 8, stay on the right track, as well. “Because when you’ve got kids, it’s not just your life you are affecting — it’s theirs,” adds Danny.
